Canada has a very long and very cold winter so most places in Canada are great for ice fishing. Due to the tremendous amount of glaciers that used to scrape the
land there are plenty of frozen lakes to be found.
In the United States, the best locations for ice fishing are, Alaska, and around the great lakes. Other areas with lakes and long cold winters are great for ice fishing.
